Willow Cottage Cosy Cornish Rural Retreat - Dog Friendly Cornwall, hotel in Kenwyn

Willow Cottage Cosy Cornish Rural Retreat - Dog Friendly Cornwall, a property with a terrace, is situated in Ponsanooth, 31 km from Newquay Train Station, 35 km from Lizard Lighthouse & Heritage...

Extremely cosy and qaint little cottage in a beautiful village. Everything inside is spic and span, and we found whatever we needed for a 5-day long stay. Really appreciate the welcome basket (snacks and prosecco). There was some milk, cheese and butter provided in the fridge. The pantry was well stocked with tea, coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil and some condiments too. I couldn't find the hairdryer, so I messaged the host about it pretty late in the evening and they had one sent over in 5 minutes - really appreciated the prompt response :) We were a group of 4 (average height) adults, so two of us were on the bunk beds which were quite comfy tbh. We had a lovely stay.

I had work in Falmouth and Truro over 2 days so the location was key. Last time I did similar in Cornwall, I stayed at the Premier Inn at Carnon Downs which was truly awful. Never again!

Best of both worlds!, hotel in Kenwyn

Boasting garden views, Best of both worlds! features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 23 km from Newquay Train Station.

What a lovely place! We enjoyed our stay very much indeed. The cottage is spacious, welcoming, bright, warm and clean. And, very well equipped. Everything you could possibly need was there. Just like a home from home. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our questions. It is also dog friendly and we did not need to pay extra for our pet dog to stay with us.

Ohana House, hotel in Kenwyn

Ohana House is a holiday home with a garden, set in Newquay. The property is 2.9 km from Fistral Beach and boasts views of the sea. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site.

The house was clean although a little worn and could have done with a facelift. It was comfortable and spacious but did not meet expectations nor did it truly reflect the description. Host seemed lovely although I didn’t meet them. Too many house rules for a holiday home such as signs in the bathroom advising you to use a toilet brush, and advised of deposit deductions for braking any of the rules.

Plenty of space and well-located, we had a great stay. Very well-furnished with a luxurious bathroom. Check in and out was easy. Great views from upstairs, and the large windows and skylights made the house light and airy. Great value too.

The location was an easy walk from the train station. Natasha and her lovely friendly dog were waiting for me and I was shown into the garden room. It was warm, cosy, and Natasha had left snacks and tea, coffee. I had everything I needed for my two night stay. It was very quiet, and a short walk to town and some great cafes. I would stay again, Natasha is very relaxed, friendly and welcoming. The location was ideal for me as I was visiting a friend in hospital so I was going back and forth to the train station and catching busses.
