Shower worked well and was clean, the guy who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, kitchen had everything we needed. Heaters worked really well, our room felt like a greenhouse in no time. It feels a bit like a hostel, but with private rooms instead of shared rooms, which is nice. The price for a private room with ensuite bathroom was lower compared to elsewhere.

The chalet was very homely, there was everything you could need and Margaret was very welcoming. It was very dog friendly, and had a beautiful garden. It was easy to find and the location was great - close to shops etc. We would definitely recommend!

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Lovely cottage tucked away on the mountain overlooking Loch Ness. The secluded location is excellent for hikers, and people travelling around Scotland by car. Jane was an excellent host and cooked a lovely breakfast. Her dog willow is the star of the show.

We took the option to have a cooked evening meal at the Lodge, Janes cooking was superb, outstanding. Breakfast which is included was equally delicious.
It was our second time stay at this B&B and we again enjoyed Jane's & Jill's place very much! The hostesses are lovely, breakfast and dinner food is amazing, all fresh and home cooked by Jane. The cottage is located in a beautiful surroundings next to the hill walks and Loch Ness, our dog also enjoyed the warm welcome in this place, we already booked our stay for next year!
Our stay at Foresters Lodge was superb. We enjoyed having a variety of options for breakfast. The pancake and fruit was mouth watering. We had a delightful conversation with our hosts during breakfast. Meeting new people is my favorite part of traveling. Their home was a very short walk from the beautiful shores of Loch Ness. There are also some established trails right behind their home.
Jane is an awesome host and a great cook. Definitely pre-order dinner if you plan on staying here. Especially the Cullen Skink was very delicious and filled me up quite a bit. Foresters Lodge is a great place to spend the night if you enjoy rural and cosy. If you come as couple, a family or by yourself, Jane will make you feel you right at home!
We had a fabulous couple of days at Foresters Lodge. Fantastic location for Loch Ness and we did a beautiful walk from the accommodation, through some lovely woods to Foyers Falls and back along the loch shoreline. The room was spacious and the breakfasts superb. We had evening meals there both night and can heartily recommend others do the same.
Excellent place. Fab hosts, clean, cosy, well located and the food ( homemade) was absolutely delicious (dinner and breakfast). We can’t recommend enough, really, this place is unbelievable.

The beds in their cosy place were extremly comfortable and the garden view was so relaxing. They offered a variety of breakfast options, wich were fresh made and very delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at Forresters Lodge :)
Tucked away from the bustle of the busy towns, this idyllic mountainside cottage feels like you’re in another world. Surrounded by huge firs and adjacent to some fabulous forest walks. Super comfortable beds too.
A beautiful cottage in the middle of the forest, an idyllic place. Beautiful room, very large with a spacious bathroom. The house was beautiful, very well decorated, extremely clean and tidy. Typical Scottish dinner and breakfast, excellently prepared, delicious! Our hosts were kind and helpful. A place to return to and that we highly recommend.
