Really lovely cottage with large rooms. Some nice furnishings. Good appliances. Warm and cosy. Double bed was comfortable. Reasonably good value. With some small tweaks it could be absolutely brilliant.

The facilities were better than I expected and the whole place was clean and tidy, with plenty of towels and bedding. The Site Manager (Inga) was very helpful and prompt when it came to fuel and power renewals being required. The location is very good for accessing places of interest and activities for all ages.

Burnmouth, hotel in Inchmill

Offering a garden and river view, Burnmouth is situated in Balnaboth, 49 km from University of Dundee and 17 km from Kirriemuir Golf Club.

Such a quaint cottage in an amazing setting. Some people highlight that the furnishings could be upgraded, or the walls painted….. the cottage is functional and the prices reflect the lack of upgrade - but to do that you would lose the simplicity and beauty of it.. but beyond that… what do you have on your doorstep.. silence, time to reflect, time to stand still and enjoy where you are. To not have connection to the outside world was amazing.

Pure peace and quiet - no phone signal, no wifi, and clear dark skies for stargazing at night. Very cozy cottage - especially in the evenings with the shutters closed. We bought bird food and whiled some time away just watching the birds. Glorious! It was nice to have hand and dish soap provided.

All of it. Probably the best holiday cottage we’ve stayed in. Everything was thought about for an easy family stay - decent size travel cot, childrens toys. House had a nice feel to it too - a home from home
