A lovely little cottage which was comfortable and had almost everything we could have wanted for a one night stay. The staff were happy for an earlier check in time which was really appreciated as we were at a wedding at Healey barn for 2. The cottage has a comfortable seating area in front of a fire. Bring some wood if you want to use it. A comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and shower and toilet.
The location is great for visiting near by towns like corbridge and hexham and as mentioned we were attending a wedding at Healey so this accom was great for that.

Liked most of the accommodation for 1-2 nights. However, It was a small bedroom, comfy bed, nice bathroom. Living area good space . However there were NO blinds on the front windows. If you were sitting /cooking watching TV on an evening or during the day. People would pass your door and could see right inside your sitting area/ lounge. No real privacy except in Bedroom/ bathroom.

Great for a large group of friends to stay. Managed to get all of us round the table. Plenty of hot water and we were warm despite the storm. We had everything we needed there.

Excellent property. Easy to find and good access to Otterburn itself and Woodhill Hall wedding venue nearby. Excellent kitchen facilities with everything we could possibly need. A member of staff met us with a key as organised. It was lovely to find milk and eggs provided in the fridge. Beds were very comfortable and there was lots of hot water. All in all we had everything we could want.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The cottage was well furnished and equipped in a fabulous setting. It was like being in your own home. It was close to a lot of intetesting places to visit and had a lovely garden out front.
Lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean.. Quiet village location. 3 minutes walk from the pub. Off street parking. Loads of coffees teas jam chutney hot chocolate and biscuits in the welcome pack.
Comfy sofas in the living room.
Perfect location for investigating Northumberland, Hadrians Wall, a good selection of National Trust properties and even the coast. The property was well and generously equipped and the welcome pack included interesting local products. The owners have given much thought to the cottage and its facilities - even to the provision of an automatic night-light to the landing.
The location could not have been better. We were there to visit Roman sites on and around Hadrian's Wall and, if a team of experts had put a pin in a map to mark the best place to stay to do this, it'd have landed slap, bang on East Farmhouse Cottage. There was a warm welcome with a bottle of wine and biscuits, the kitchen was well-equipped, there were plenty of towels and extra bedclothes. Parking was easy and views of the main farmhouse attractive. Loved it.
