Spacious, clean, the exposed stone walls. There was a great garden area and it was very close to the Apple Tree pub which was excellent.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Spotlessly clean, self contained and in beautiful countryside surroundings - away from it all. It was cosy and well thought out and it was nice to bring my dog so he could join in the fun. The property was fenced off with a secure gate. Lovely views
We loved everything, the quiet location, the comfortable bed, the well equipped kitchen, the log burning stove. It was the absolute perfect getaway - cosy but with so many thoughtful touches to ensure we had absolutely everything we needed. Can't wait to come back again
Idyllic self catering retreat in a beautiful spot ..everything has been considered by lovely hosts...you just need to take food and clothing and that's it ....could not have asked for a more perfect weekend ..ideally placed to see several local attractions too ...
The Shepherd's hut was comfortable, spotless and so peaceful. The hut is petite but it is a unique experience. What you get is everything you need for a comfortable and enriching stay, with helpful, friendly hosts, and situated in a wonderful location. The hut and sunroom have been very thoughtfully decorated, and i am sure the hosts take great pride in what they have achieved. To sum up, let us say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with its cosy simplicity and away from the roar of the world.
It is an amazing place to stay, quirky, cosy and very comfortable. Lovely walks to go on with our puppy.
