A beautiful property in a wonderful setting. Only a short walk into town, but set amongst the rolling hills made for a perfect stay. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable and the property had everything needed for our party of 3 adults. Having two toilets was very helpful for this too. Hawkshead has some nice pubs and shops and it was great to be able to do a number of walks straight from the front door. Overall a great stay and would return.

Perfect location secluded at the back of the main property. Lovely friendly hosts who are very helpful and acommodating. Very cosy little lodge with everything you need for a great self catering experience. Lovely main living area and combined kitchen with nice breakfast bar and windows all round to take in the beautiful views of the property grounds and beyond to the hills ,fields and mountains. Resident chickens visted every day and the peacock very lovely always wandering around the grounds.....very back to nature :-) Great bathroom with hot shower and even a wall heater. Lovely cosy main bedroom with lovely decor and lovely comfortable bed.

Great location for the village with excellent parking and private garden. Very warm and cosy. We took our fire stick for the evenings. We didn’t realise when we booked that the accommodation is only part of the building and is accessible by a flight if stairs. Not a problem for us.
