Coachroad Shepherds Huts, hotel in Haslemere

Set just 27 km from Goodwood Racecourse, Coachroad Shepherds Huts provides accommodation in Petworth with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as private check-in and check-out.

What an absolutely amazing place to stay, my partner and I enjoyed an evening sat around the fire pit using their outdoor BBQ facilities, and as the evening got colder we put the log burner on inside and sat and played some games. The bed was so comfy, my concern before I got there was that I'm 6ft and didn't know if I would fit in the bed, but there is more than enough room, I reckon you could be 6ft 5in and still have plenty of room! The little kitchen was perfect and had all the utensils for what you'll need to do any cooking. The bathroom was lovely, and my partner and I couldn't believe the size of the shower that was in there, my partner also could stop washing her hands in the bathroom because the hand soap that is provided smells like nothing I've ever smelt before, it really was so nice! All in all this place was immaculate, the attention to detail was perfect, and if you are looking for a quiet tranquil place to stay to forget about the stresses of life then this is it! My partner and I will be booking again.

Mays Cottage Bed and Breakfast, hotel in Haslemere

Situated in Petersfield and only 20 km from Jane Austen's House Museum, Mays Cottage Bed and Breakfast features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. En-suite shower room is nicely decorated with a decent shower. Bed was comfy. Friendly host and excellent continental breakfast many of the big brands couldn’t compare with. She even found me a charging cable to borrow! Location was convenient- just off a main road and near 2 pubs.

We arrived to find Bridge cottage a hidden gem at the end of private tack. Miranda made us feel very at home and is a wonderful host. The choice of breakfast and quality is excellent. We opted for the full English which set us up nicely for the day. Each evening, we eat in one of the two excellent local pubs, both in an easy walking distance.

Nothing at all, arrived at the property with my family for a wedding the next day to then realise we have not been sent a code. Tried to contact the home owner and not met with any answer. Was stuck outside for hours and end up going home with multiple kids.

Staff is brilliant, room is small but cozy. Big TV and kettle+tea+coffee is available in the room. Big, comfy bed. Read a lot of good reviews about the breakfast, but unfortunately had to leave early, so missed the opportunity to give it a try. Definitely will be staying again

Wonderful place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was great, warm, spacious and cozy, with a tv and a terrace, it included iron, hair dryer and kettle with lots if tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies (that was such a nice gesture, I really appreciated it) Loved that there were really nice toiletries products, even hand cream. Staff was nice, the check in and check iut was fast, everything was clean, great hotel! It is located right across the railway station in Haslemere.

It’s a beautiful hotel with a cottage feel. From the station you can get a taxi which will take you straight to the hotel. Maximum £10. The staff welcoming and friendly. The rooms spacious and clean. The food was also nice. Having a gym, swimming, sauna and steam is was a perfect way to end the day. The outdoor was also a bonus, being able to have a good walk.

Lythe Hill hotel is in a lovely location, being in the countryside but not too far from a town. It has a pool, sauna & steam room - and we enjoyed all three. We were lucky to stay during some lovely weather so after our swim we had a drink outside on the terrace. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and the staff were friendly & helpful.
