Brilliant staff. They were really nice and warm and made us feel very welcome.
We ate at the restaurant which was incredible. The chef clearly takes a lot of pride in their work because the dining experience was exceptional.

It was lovely, had a small private garden area for my dog which was very helpful, good kitchen facilities to be able to cook along with menu’s for local takeaways if you don’t fancy cooking. The bed is absolutely amazing to sleep on so comfy and easy to get a good night sleep and the lounge is lovely to chill out on and watch the tv. Close to a local co op and fish and chip shop and not much of a walk into town either. Great hosts and very helpful if you have any questions during your stay
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Superb property, lovely location, brilliant hosts. The 'Barn' is beautiful with loads of interesting decorations, a real comforting feel, the rooms are large and with underfloor heating it was very cosy too.
A really beautiful cottage, sympathetically renovated and comfortably but not fussily furnished with natural woods and fabrics, so we felt very at home. The barn is wrapped in a beautiful garden and wild fields with a handsome house to the rear. It was also really good value with very welcoming hosts.
The Barn is a wonderfully presented and great sized property and we would’ve loved to have stayed longer. Set in beautiful rolling countryside and lots of wildlife to see and within east reach of Dorsets best beaches and attractions. The owners are so welcoming this is a truly beautiful place to stay.
Everything you could ask for in a beautiful cottage in an idyllic location…very restful weekend break.
