We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ashleworth. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The cottage was clean, with a lovely layout and a great base to tour Gloucester, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds. The hub next door has great amenities, we ate breakfast or dinner in there most days. We will be returning.

Exceptional location for staying in with family! Kids play area is 3min walk down beautiful country lane, pub 7min walk. The area is super quiet. We have met the owner upon arrival, she was super nice and welcoming, allowed our children to use their trampoline and play around the main house. The property itself is a beautiful studio that has literally everything you need. From cutlery, bedding, appliances to toys, books and magazines. We will be definitely returning to this one.

Easy parking comfortable room good facilities – good host.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Fairfields Cottage was so cosy! We stayed for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook. The bedroom was lovely and beds comfortable. Great shower. The lovely countryside surroundings were lovely to wake up to and it's so peaceful and quiet. The alpacas were great neighbours. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Excellent cottage - Very cosy and modern with large open plan living dining area with super comfy sofa , TV , office desk and kitchen facilities, Peaceful semi rural location, with llamas (forgot their actual name : ) )
We had a special requirement which many hosts in the UK make a big fuss about yet this host was very easy about it.
Rooms were very comfortable as was the bath and shower

This was our second stay at this property & it was just as good as our first! We love the cosy little cottage, the garden, the view of the sunset, the peace & quiet. The cottage is fully equipped, comfortable, spacious.
The location was lovely. The larger of the two cottages and was more than adequate for the 2 family members staying.
We use this cottage for family and we were in the adjoining cottage and this provided a better Kitchen/Dining environment.
The Beds, I gather, were fine, as was the Bathroom.
The Alpacas, in the field, were charming and the Kids Playground looked amazing!
WIFI was v.good, shared with the next door cottage and the large TV with soundbar and living room area seats was comfortable.
Room was and bed was of an excellent standard, bed was comfy access to coffee maker toaster , fridge microwave.. even a telescope for star gazing, you had access to a back garden and decking area , the hosts went above and beyond even had access to pool table , and was given a lift to the local pub !! ( the royal exchange) we had all of this for the equivelant price of a premier inn or travelodge, if you want a nice relaxing stay in the Gloucestershire countryside hill vine is the place 10/10
The cottage is idyllic as the pictures but functional so you have everything you need. It was helped by glorious weather. We were here for a nearby wedding but it was so peaceful here it felt like a break and rest for us too. Plus, our toddler adored the swings as trampoline so much I now want to demand this everywhere we stay. She was so happy, and a happy toddler makes for happy parents
