Castle cottage was a great stay for my partner and I and parents in law. We used it as an ideal base for visiting York and Harrogate for a weekend, but found that Spofforth and nearby Wetherby were lovely locations to stay and visit too, with some nice restaurants and a great pub just opposite the house. The house was super comfortable, clean had lots of equipment and games, so e outdoor space too and parking! I would highly recommend if you're in the area.

Great location, we stayed at Acorn Lodge while exhibiting at the Yorkshire Show which is only a 10 minute drive away.
Lots of rooms, bathrooms, plenty of space and so close to where we needed to go. A big ASDA only 3 minute drive away made life even easier. Everything we needed was provided including hangers and a hairdryer in the bedroom.

The property has been renovated to a high standard, every room is well decorated and spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious and the house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The house is a short 10 min walk into harrogate and across the road from valley gardens, which was nice to walk around. The host is easy to contact and allowed an earlier check in for us.

This little place exceeded my expectations by far. Stunning property with a gorgeous garden. Easy to park outside and a great little greengrocers in the parade of shops opposite. An easy walk to the city centre too.

The lodge was most definitely stunning. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Hot tub was good - setting around the lake was anazing. The location was good (although not central Harrogate as described by B.com). The train station is right next door with regular trains into Harrogate. Mandy was lovely - very friendly and helpful
The Masons Arms is in a very quiet and attractive location with a ripping brook along the roadside and pretty cottages. The room was clean and quite comfortable with thick walls which made it cosy - but in the summer a cool fan would be appreciated - we found the thick duvet and thick walls too hot ! [Fortunately the windows could be opened for fresh air] Parking at the rear was convenient and seemed secure. Food and beer served in the pub was good.
Clean .Cosy rooms with very comfortable beds. Beautiful countryside surrounding the hotel. Near to Knaresborough and Harrogate. Excellent breakfast. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Well stocked bar with a fair selection of beers, with a nice outside area to enjoy in fine weather.
Kiln House Lodge has everything needed for a relaxing and very comfortable stay. The Lodge has been carefully constructed to provide a very well appointed and luxurious space. The surrounding countryside is just gorgeous and you are close to lots of walks, many from the Lodge. The secure field was great for our dog and we enjoyed throwing the ball for Wilma. Melissa and Steve were just the loveliest of hosts and we were very lucky that we were able to stay with them. We will definitely be back!
Idyllic location with beautiful walks right at your doorstep, we found this traditional style inn to be steeped in good, old-fashioned country charm. It's comfortable, clean, has an excellent, modern menu and moreover, really lovely staff providing superb service. My partner and I loved it and would highly recommend to our friends and family for both romantic or family getaways.
Excellent location - Easy to walk into Harrogate through Valley Gardens. The host was easy to contact if there were questions or issues. There isn’t a dedicated car parking space but we always found a space on the road outside. It’s a bit narrow, especially if you’re from Australia, but it’s typical for the area and after a day or two we were used to it. Efficient heating so a nice, cosy cottage.
Gorgeous cosy hotel, nice bar with fireplace and selling a good range of drinks. Restaurant tasteful and unfussy decor. Locally sourced food, very tasty. Dinner and breakfast were superb with friendly efficient service by all staff. Surrounding countryside is beautiful and very easy to go for a picturesque walk from the doorstep of the hotel.
I loved every single thing about Kiln House Lodge. The place is set in beautiful countryside, the lodge is modern, exceptionally clean and was so warm and cosy.
