We had a wonderful overnight stay at this property. Linda was a fabulous host who made both us and our dog very welcome as did Maisie(the dog) and Colin ( the cat). Our room was clean and comfortable with glorious views. The breakfast was exceptional with muesli , fresh fruit salad and creme fraiche to start, followed by a full cooked breakfast, with fresh bread and home made jams, not to mention a freshly brewed cafetiere of coffee. . Would thoroughly recommend a stay in this lovely quirky cottage with an interesting history. Thank you Linda for your hospitality.

Outstandingly authentic, warm, and easy-going style of Lis and her family. Little gestures like brownies and sunflowers on a rainy day were unexpected and welcome... Any needs we mentioned were responded to very quickly.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Our hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, it was very quiet, the rooms were super clean and cosy. Breakfast was also great, and you even have access to a beautiful garden. Perfect! :)
The breakfasts were wonderful. There were many options from the full English breakfast to porridge with honey and banana.
The proprietors are delightful, interesting and very helpful.
The rooms are clean and spacious. And there is a lovely backyard garden that guests can enjoy.
We chose this location in the English countryside because it was a short drive from Glyndebourne Opera which opera-lovers should definitely experience.
