Easy to find, based on the hosts instructions. Absolutely loved the living room area, the log burner and fire place was beautiful. Kitchen was fully equipped, with all utensils that you would ever need. There were loads of additional extras, including travel cot, fire guard, hoover, cleaning products, local guides, takeaway menus, tea and coffee, biscuits, crisps, extra logs for the fire. The hosts gave us extra information about the local pub, which was closed but had given us information about where to find the next pub. overall 10 out of 10 experience. Lovely cottage. very happy with our stay. would highly recommend and would happily return in the future.

A traditional old farmhouse that was warm and cosy . We loved the view from our bedroom it was beautiful and loved our room . Breakfast had lots of choice and it was lovely . Avril cooked my husband a lovely veggie breakfast with plenty . We were also given fresh melon and strawberries , fruit juice , we felt very well looked after . Yeah it’s a bit in the wilds , maybe ? Have to say the drive from Hexham to West Woodburn was beautiful . Thankyou for sharing your beautiful home and look forward to visiting soon ! If you have space ! .

Liked most of the accommodation for 1-2 nights. However, It was a small bedroom, comfy bed, nice bathroom. Living area good space . However there were NO blinds on the front windows. If you were sitting /cooking watching TV on an evening or during the day. People would pass your door and could see right inside your sitting area/ lounge. No real privacy except in Bedroom/ bathroom.

The property was clean, stylish and had everything we needed. It was right in the centre of the little village of Bellingham, close to the local cafe, shop and pubs.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Very peaceful location abundant with sparrows, house martins and swallows. We stayed in Middle Cottage which is light and airy and very comfortable for a couple. On arrival, Dee showed us around their wonderful extensive gardens which open onto farmland. Some panoramic views from the end garden. We were left with a welcome basket of essentials including eggs (their own) and milk.
