We love the lakes and have stayed in many places. If you’re after somewhere quiet away from the tourists and crowds then this is perfect. The cottage was beautiful. It was cosy, comfortable, clean, quiet and had everything that we needed.
Despite being on a somewhat busy road, it was very quiet with lovely views.
The cottage was beautifully decorated, spotless. It is very spacious, 2 huge living rooms. Everything was really thought out, and we had everything we needed.
NIce views and great location. Coffee van and pub very close.
I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and luxurious retreat in the Lake District.
Cottage was excellent, very clean, and cosy,Angus has done the cottage very well every think was there for are stay unfortunately the location was to remote for us , but we enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Location was easy to fine. And the cottage looks really beautiful and it had everything we need. The place was so relaxing and the outside view was amazing. Definitely do recommend this place to anybody. The appearance and the interior of the cottage was really beautiful too. Had parking but maybe would be better to put a small board or something to exactly pinpoint the parking location.
The cottage is amazing , such a hidden gem. Great space lovely and clean . Decorations had been put up , it was so lovely , twinkling lights around the beams and a lovely Christmas tree in the cosy lounge area . Great views from the windows , and it snowed which added to the festive experience.
The cottage is beautiful and very spacious for 4 adults. It was a great base for us to explore the Lake District and we loved coming back to such a cosy and comfortable cottage after days out. Angus, the host, was quick to respond to any questions and was really helpful. The cottage is also well priced and clearly a lot of thought has gone into the decor and furnishings. We had a great stay and wish we were there for longer. We would love to visit again!
The cottage was amazing. The decor was beautiful and the main living space is large and open plan. The baby gate at the top of the stairs was perfect for keeping both our toddler and dog from going down the stairs. The fire is perfect at night, super cosy room where you can relax and watch tv. The cottage is well equipped with utensils, games and entertainment. Great place to relax in either small group or large.
We stayed for 3 nights with our little rescue pup and we all loved it! Such a cosy cottage, really clean and really comfy in a brilliant location. Close to a dog friendly beach and also close to lake Windermere and Coniston. A really lovely host, Alan was welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back and would recommend!
