Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.

The location was good for shopping, and being in the countryside with good views. The cottage was spacious, with a good amount of furniture. Plenty of room for storage of items, clothes, coats etc.
The breakfast was good with a variety of food which was cooked & presented well.
Small but comfortable cabins looking over open countryside. Reasonable bar food evening meal and excellent breakfast. A convenient location if travelling onward into Scotland.
Carolyn, the Proprietor greeted us warmly on our arrival. We were offered the Cottage annexe which was more private. The room was cosy and had the facilities we needed. Breakfast was beautiful too. Carolyn made us feel quite at home and we would definitely return.
