Loved our stay in Wallys Wagon, had our very own parking spot just outside the wagon. The log burner made for a really cosy nights sleep , so many home comforts, beautifully decorated, had our own private hot tub that was so warm and relaxing, we had animal's walking by our front door which was amazing to see. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the prosecco on ice, balloons and banners were such a lovely surprise thank you so much, we hope to visit again.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the properties, Skipbridge Farm Cottages are situated near Green Hammerton, 12 km from York. Leeds is 29 km away. Free private parking is available on-site.

Castle cottage was a great stay for my partner and I and parents in law. We used it as an ideal base for visiting York and Harrogate for a weekend, but found that Spofforth and nearby Wetherby were lovely locations to stay and visit too, with some nice restaurants and a great pub just opposite the house. The house was super comfortable, clean had lots of equipment and games, so e outdoor space too and parking! I would highly recommend if you're in the area.

Absolutely stunning view from this cottage! It is right beside, almost underneath, the iconic and awe-inspiring Knaresborough viaduct, with the river quietly flowing below. And the view from the cottage in the evenibg is especially unbelievable! We have never had such a peacefully quiet, serene place outside our windows at night. The pink room is tastefully decorated with a super comfy bed and fluffy (not flat!) pillows.

Very comfortable, all amenities excellent. Good location. Clean and smelled gorgeous.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Lime Tree Inn is a relatively new property which has been cleverly designed to create the atmosphere of a cosy country pub. It centres around a large bar and fireplace with a dining room to one side and more casual eating area to the other, suitable for customers with dogs. The food was exceptional. We wish to congratulate the owner/chef who is creating a special offering. They grow their own food, use local produce and the bread, butter and jams are all made in house. Fabulous.
The staff were very friendly & helpful & very good with our dog.
The dinner was delicious & the breakfast amazing with lots on the menu & a good choice.
The bar was lovely atmosphere & cosy. The young barman was really nice & had a great chat with us. Also the price was very reasonable for what you got, definitely go back when we're visiting York.
Loved everything. The place is fresh and new but the bar and restaurant could have been there years. The food was magnificent and the staff were lovely with us both and the dog. The room was lovely, great facilities, would like to go again in the summer when we can go on long walks around the surrounding countryside.
Really enjoyed our first stay at Limetree, on arrival greeted with very friendly staff. Lovely spacious bedroom & bathroom. The inn itself has a really cozy atmosphere.
Ate in the delightful restaurant on the evening, food & wine perfect.
We will definitely return here .
Amazing attention to detail, extremely well appointed room, beautiful and tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Not just blackout curtains but interlined too! Lovely Nespresso coffee maker, fresh milk. Great air conditioning.
Liked the separate loo and bathroom.
Delicious food, dinner and breakfast. Warm and cosy restaurant, beautiful tableware. Lovely friendly staff, made us feel very welcome. Great that there is a lift so no worries about negotiating stairs for elderly or anyone with mobility issues
Highly recommend. Stuart and Caroline's space was perfect - nothing lacking, down to the delicious welcome scones. Modern space, comfortable bed, great shower, kitchen for self catering, lovely lounge area. Caroline, Stuart and the gorgeous four legged Betty were very welcoming. The village is delightful and there's an excellent eating establishment 'The Lime Tree' few minutes walk away. Couldn't fault this lovely annex - best bnb we've stayed in yet.
Very nice self contained flat above garage. Great hosts who supplied milk, bread, and a bottle of wine on arrival! There is a fridge, microwave incorporating a grill, and plenty plates/cutlery etc. so self catering perfectly possible. The shower is excellent.
