Amazing views! Very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. The kids loved being able to see the cows and sheep in the field right next to the property.

The location was amazing. Perched on a hill on farmland above the village of Muasdale not far from Campbeltown. Overlooking the sea, looking over to the isles of Ghia, Jura, Cara and even Islay. At night in the hottub, after watching the sun go down, then looking up at the stars, watching the lights from ships in the distance and even watching lighthouses flash from as far away as Ireland.
It was so peaceful, with very little light pollution.
Heaven.
Catherine, the owner met us on arrival, explained everything in the well equipped Shepherds hut we stayed in. When we went for dinner on our first night she light the Woodburner that heated the hottub. This was a wonderful way to end out day, so relaxing.

The fabulous welcome basket, the power on the shower, the comfy beds, the very spacious fridge and freezer, the huge front room with access to ALOT of TV channels, cooking a roast dinner was easy, and of course the location was wonderful. The view was stunning, you could not hear the traffic on the main road, plenty of wildlife to see and a little walk through Jubilee Woods just to the back of the house.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The key was left out, because of our late arrival. Super cozy room, the bed was really comfortable! Stayed one night and it was lovely! Because of we leave early at the morning we have got take away breakfast, wich was excellent! Highly recommended! We really enjoyed our stay at Glenbarr!

The owners provided a lovely country cottage, immaculate and comfortable. They were very generous and welcoming with home baking, fresh eggs and wine 🍷 😋. We were so grateful, thank you. We loved location, giving us easy access by car to Isle of gigha and westport beach. Pet friendly too, thank you. Our scottie loved it.
