Spacious, clean, the exposed stone walls. There was a great garden area and it was very close to the Apple Tree pub which was excellent.

Lovely and clean, full of character in a fantastic location.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Location was great. Cottage was very pleasant. Info about walks etc was good. We found somewhere interesting to explore I would never have thought of. Cottage was nice and warm amd temps could easily be controlled in different rooms.
The cottage is clean, cosy and has everything required. It is located just a short drive from the beautiful Ingram valley and has a village shop / petrol station within walking distance. I truly enjoyed my stay here and my son loved the play park and meeting the friendly neighborhood chickens that wander around. Its a perfect place for a peaceful country getaway. I highly recommend it and the hosts are extremely warm and welcoming.

Though Powburn itself is small, is a great touring base for a large area including int the Scottish borders. Easy distance to Alnwick for shopping/ eating out as well as numerous pubs round and about.
GREAT PLACE! This is a lovely cottage. Spacious and well equipped. Very clean and tidy and instructions were perfect.The garden for hanging out washing was a bonus, esp in the hot weather! Easy access to a lot of locations for walking and coast within 10 miles. Had a great week. There were 4 over the weekend and two all week and lots of space.
