Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The cottage was very compact and cosy, so it soon warmed right up when we lit the fire. We were visiting during typical English springtime weather - rather cold, wet and windy! But we were nice and snug in the cottage and loved sinking into the huge double bath after a day rambling over the beautiful moors.
Quiet, rural setting in a farm, away from the everyday. Close to Roadford Lake and Dartmoor.
The cottage was comfy enough for two people. Loved a good soak in the bath tub. The wood burning stove was a real treat on a chilly January's day.
A lovely cottage. Really quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable and clean. I booked instead of staying in a Premier Inn whilst working in the area and I'm very glad I did. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area.
