It was a really clean and spacious place with a lovely Scandinavian style. Delicious bread, jam, clotted cream, scones, orange juice and milk in the fridge for us as well. Peaceful location and less than a 15minute drive into Braunton town and the beach!

Lovely old thatched cottage, as described, basic and comfortable, dog friendly- with some nice touches and a lovely rolled top bath with plenty of hot water.
The location was excellent - a good base for exploring the area on foot. It was cosy once we realised someone had turned the thermostat down (despite instructions to not touch the thermostat!) and the beds were comfortable. The gift of wine and chocolate was much appreciated. Being able to park outside was helpful.
Private luxury lodge which was utterly perfect for ourselves and our two dogs. Completely secure garden area which they could play and run around. Lodge gets the afternoon and evening sunshine and had cosy outdoor sofa for relaxing. Bathroom was exceptional. Lodge is 5 minute walk to pub in the village and close to Woolacombe and Croyde. Will definitely go back.
It was clean cute and comfortable. Gerry and Sue had gone the extra mile by providing milk, beer (!) and breakfast items. Such a peaceful location with lovely countryside view. Woke up to cows, a pheasant and a bunny one morning. Also it was very handy for local beaches. I chose to do the long walk from free village car park but only a few mins to drive.
How big and spacious it was. Garden was massive for the dog too. Its location is brilliant, 5 minutes drive from the beach and a pub walking distance from the lodge. I will 100% be back
