The property was fully renovated, it had everything we needed for the stay. Very clean, it was small but perfectly formed. Very well organised, the communication was great with the owner, the information provided was excellent. The shower was lovely. Very nice accommodation and happy to recommend as a place to stay to travel to buttermere etc

Beautiful little hotel with stunning grounds. The staff were fabulous!
Charlie, Brett, Andrea and of course Andy the chef. All couldn't do enough for us and were so accommodating. Honestly one of the best places I've stayed in a long time and the food was just exceptional.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Lovely stay in fabulous grounds, a conversion done really well, giving a cozy, relaxing environment.
The owners were really nice and helpful, and we enjoyed the visits from the pet birds too.
Facilities were great, with tea, coffee and biscuits replaced every day.
The hayloft is quiet, roomy and spotlessly clean. On arrival we were met by a pair of charming & inquisitive turkeys that followed us about the grounds checking us and our dog out 😄. We didn't meet the hosts but instructions upon arrival were easy to follow and we had no issues.
The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The views are amazing from the back garden. In a lovely location with walks nearby and not far from places to visit. Would highly recommend.
Friendly hosts. Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated with quality crockery. TVs in both the lounge and the bedroom. Quiet peaceful surroundings. Super comfortable bed with crisp bedlinen.
Peaceful and relaxing surroundings, convenient location, dog friendly, cottage was cosy and spotlessly clean, great attention to details, host was great
Great facilities, coffee machine with decaf option, lovely cosy cottage feel. Bear on mind no dogs in the bedroom if your dog likes to sleep with you
Nice walks without getting in the car and also nearby Ennerdale Water is a beautiful walk with your dogs
