The host Catherine was very kind and shared lots of toys for our kids which they loved. The location is very remote but beautiful and on a working sheep and cow farm. The walk to the cliffs is close by and you're close to some major attractions on Skye. Seeing the sheep and other farm animals from the kitchen window was special.

The property was spacious, clean and tidy. The surroundings were quiet and the view was amazing. Beach was in walking distance. The place provided peaceful and quiet rest even for our group of seven, including kids and elderly. The property owner kindly dropped by to make sure that we found everything ok and we knew how to operate all the kitchen equipment. We will definitely recommend The Old Inn in Staffin!

Superb location between the Old Man of Storr and beach trails at your doorstep. Sweeping views all round from the inside on bad weather days. Lovely garden and patio.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Our hosts ensured everything was comfortable and done to our liking. We had a great time staying in their beautiful cottage near the sea. Thank you again for everything !
Also everything was superbly cooked.
A great B & B style cosy accommodation for exploring that area. We hiked Old Man Of Storr before arriving and appreciated the homemade scones from our host Margaret. We chose porridge from the breakfast selections and it was delicious and hearty before heading off early for hiking Quiraing.
What a cozy little B&B.Situated in a remote area overlooking the sea itˋs the perfect place to relax and have a quiet night.A warm welcome by the nice lady, welcome tea and a plate of sweets gave a good feeling.
The breakfast was tasty and more than enough,I couldnˋt eat it all.The room was big enough for the two of us and very clean. If you‘re looking for a B&B with a personal touch, you are in the right place. All the best from Anne and Uwe.
After waiting for three years to do our trip to the UK, (damn Covid19), my wife and I finally got to stay at Sonas House.
Margaret and Miles were fine hosts and the room was lovely. We enjoyed a great sleep in a cosy room with the most comfortable bed. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the location was extremely tranquil with views of the sea and islands of the coast of Skye. we'd stay at this location again if given another chance.
Liked that it was relaxed, cosy & quiet. I’d always chose that over ultra modern or sleek. Breakfast was great & in a real kitchen
