Quiet little campsite
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Great pub accommodation. Proprietors were very friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic. Set in a small and peaceful nook in beautiful countryside. Good value for money. Easy parking.
The property was clean and well decorated. It felt homely and cosy. The owner has clearly put a lot of effort into this place and continues to do so. Lovely location. Highly recommend this place for somewhere to relax and access the surround beautiful countryside. Owner is very helpful.
Location ideal for exploring local area.
As we were there during xmas period, we did not do too much travelling around.
Wanted a place where we could just chill out over this time.
Quaint, tiny cottage, just enough for us.
Superb little cottage with everything you need for your stay, and all really well presented. Parking next to the cottage, milk cheese bread and chocolates waiting on arrival. Really great value.
A wonderful stay. Alyson is a charming host and has put a great deal of thought into making this a really comfortable place to stay. Great communication before we arrived, including an offer to book us a table for dinner as they get busy!
Many thoughtful details in the room, fantastic shower. Delicious breakfast, great ingredients.
We really enjoyed our stay here in this cosy accommodation. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable. I'm vegan and gluten free so I always worry I won't find anything to eat but I needn't have worried here. They had everything I could want, from vegetarian sausages and bacon to gluten free bread, muesli, plant milk and spread. Great location for doing Hadrian's Wall. All in all a fantastic stay.
A cosy pub with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Lots of thoughtful touches such as bottled water, little peppermints, hot chocolate and quality biscuits in the room. Very clean throughout. Lovely walks on the doorstep.
a fantastic little inn, clean well maintained rooms, great food and friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Cosy bar with good ales and friendly locals.
