The Cottage is a renovated holiday home located on the farm estate of Crookham Eastfield, close to Etal in Northumberland. Free private parking is available on site. The property boasts views of the large walled garden and the countryside beyond from each bedroom and the living room.

Perfect place for leaving everyday life behind and relaxing. Fantastic location, and the cottage bigger than expected. The cleanliness was exceptional and the cottage itself was cozy and functional, no WiFi or any hi spec stuff, but everything there to have a wonderful stay in a more traditional style. If you're looking for somewhere to relax, breathe and leave all the stress of everyday life behind this is for you.

    The location was brilliant to explore the area. Few pubs close by were decent. Cottage had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The beds were comfortable and all bedrooms were nice. Beds were immaculate.

    Cottage situated in a row of cottages surrounded by beautiful countryside. Beautiful view over garden & hedgerows. Quiet & peaceful. The living & bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen well equipped. It rained a great deal & temperatures dropped while we were there so we appreciated the coziness when we came back in the evening.

    The location was perfect, so lovely and quiet. We watched a hare sunbathing in the garden on our last day. It's a lovely quirky cottage ideal for families. Perfect for a quiet break away in the county. Very close to Etal, kids enjoyed the light railway and not far from Coldstream great walks at the Hirsel and for the Co-op! Clean and comfortable, slept well, excellent bedding. Certainly hoping to return.

    Countryside location. Homely rooms. Lots of space. Tidy. Well equipped - everything we needed was there so makes it easier to travel light. Kids loved all the board games. Great having dishwasher and washing machine to use with all the cleaning products provided. Parking available at the doorstep. Easy communication with the hosts. No internet - the kids went to bed at a very good time without griping! (Quite good mobile internet reception though). Birdsong in the morning with the sunrise.

    Our stay at the Cottage was a lovely experience. The location is wonderful, very quiet with access to the most beautiful countryside straight out of the door. Very close to Lindisfarne and Bamburgh and very good food available locally.

    Lovely location, a cozy home away from home. We loved the fireplace and the outhouse with the coal! The place has a rural, cozy character. Every morning we were woken up by birds and sunshine! The hosts were very responsive and gave us a lot of useful recommendations of nearby walks.

    This little tardis is a home from home. It contains everything you need to ensure a comfortable stay.. from the well fitted kitchen & cosy lounge to toys/board games for rainy days. This little cottage is perfectly situated to explore Northumberland & has a lovely feel. Hopefully, we'll return soon.
