Excellent property. Easy to find and good access to Otterburn itself and Woodhill Hall wedding venue nearby. Excellent kitchen facilities with everything we could possibly need. A member of staff met us with a key as organised. It was lovely to find milk and eggs provided in the fridge. Beds were very comfortable and there was lots of hot water. All in all we had everything we could want.

Great for a large group of friends to stay. Managed to get all of us round the table. Plenty of hot water and we were warm despite the storm. We had everything we needed there.

Location fab, lovely quiet site, caravan was clean and had everything we needed for a nice 4 day break. Had a journey out to Amble and a fantastic meal at the Cook and Barker Inn at Newton le Moor. Overall it was a lovely relaxing break and the dog loved walking round the lake and in the woods.

The cottage is lovely and the bed very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and quiet with lots of swallows flying about. The on-site treatment facilities are great - I had two treatments. I didn’t use the hot tub but having one was appealing.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming as were the locals who were happy to share the pub with strangers to watch the England Euro quarter final match.
Loved the decor in the dining room as was very cosy and romantic with the fairy lights too.
Amazing, cosy little pub in a beautiful peaceful village. The staff were wonderful, so welcoming and friendly. We spent an evening in the bar and were the last ones there and had a lovely chat with the team before heading off to bed. The locals in the pub were also really friendly. The food was delicious, and the portions were so generous. We were lucky enough to be given one of the suites, Skylark, and it was one of the most beautiful rooms I've stayed in. A huge thank you to the team at the Bird In Bush for such a lovely stay!
Lovely cottage. Beautiful location. Convenient for everywhere we wanted to visit. Some of the reviewers have been negative about the size of the shower but, honestly, it was perfectly adequate for my wife and I and neither of us are fashion models!
I missed the part about "bring your own towels" but our hosts were happy to provide some for us anyway.
Elsdon is a lovely, well kept village and so hard to believe it was once the site of one of the bloodiest battles of the Border Wars.
Very cosy cottage in a lovely quiet location. Nice spacious kitchen diner area. Spacious living room.
Roomy bathroom. Shower cubicle small but not a big problem!
Comfortable bed, plenty of storage space in the bedroom.
