Great Location in Edale, part of a working farm but we had our own parking. No issues with the house, well equipped, Owner lives near by and popped over to chat. Very nice.

Really cozy cottage, everything I needed to relax and sort my stuff out (I was there for an event). Instructions for everything and all the stuff I might need for a stay. I liked the place to leave muddy shoes and slippers to keep feet warm.

We wanted to do a good walk on Boxing Day, followed by a cozy pub with food and drink without having to drive. The location of the Nags Head is perfect for this. The beers are excellent, and varied. The game pie was excellent. Grindleford Cottage is small, but comfortable (and we knew this before we booked). The welcome was warm, the atmosphere great.

They do a great breakfast at extra cost at the pub. We did have this for two days but the cottage we stayed in is self catering so we had all we needed to make our own, which we did for the rest of our stay.

The location was perfect for walking to the Peak District, and after a nice walk in the cold, a beer and good food in the pub was just ideal. Very cosy. The cottage is situated just at the start of many easy walks.

Everything, cant fault a single thing. The location is superb, walk / 5 min drive to the nearest pub (very good) 10 min drive to great locations ( Mam Tor etc). Hosts are a lovely family, live nearby, always ready to help and assist. The cottage is cosy but spacious, pleasantly refurbished with loving hands.
