Cosy but with good, modern facilities. We loved the conservatory and the garden especially. Lovely situation. Everything we could want in village with shops, pubs and restaurants. Beautiful countryside for walks.around the village. Peaceful and people friendly. Not far from coast and many inland attractions too.

The house was a lovely place to stay, close to amenities. Ann, the host was exceptional as she made you feel so welcome with a personal touch. The room was very comfy and beautifully equipped. The setting is amazing, a lovely place to stay.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Location was perfect - small village with a local pub, beautiful countryside and handy for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.
Property was lovely - exceptionally clean, everything we needed plus more, largest bed I've ever seen, sweet treats and homemade granola provided as well as tea/coffee/milk.
