Kateshill House Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Eardington

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Kateshill House Bed & Breakfast features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi.

The breakfast was really tasty, the service wasn't great. the person wasn't very enthusiastic or attentive. The room was beautiful but there was only one small bottle of shower gel. I feel for the money there should be fresh milk in the rooms for drinks and also a better quality coffee. We also felt that the check out time was also early and that it should be midday like a lot of other establishments. The house its self is beautiful and it is spotless and a great location into town.

The host Cheryl was excellent! Very friendly kept me informed at every step. She had obviously thought about what guests would need and left lovely locally sourced provisions. The fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality. The hot tub was lovely and the garden provided an extra room . All in all,the Summerhouse is excellent !

The location was perfect. Not too far from anything (the furthest trip we did was about half an hour). The setup was good and the site was quiet. Lisa ( the lady we met who looks after it) was very friendly and helpful. The lodge itself was well laid out with everything to hand.

The Summerhouse was absolutely immaculate, so lovely and tidy. The welcome package left was so thoughtful, hot tub was great and the location was so peaceful. We had breakfast which was delicious and topped the stay off by meeting the alpacas and sheep was a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again as we could not fault it!

The peace and quiet. The Summerhouse had everything we needed . Lots of nature to see , we were also able to feed the owners sheep and Lamas . Ordered cooked breakfast which was amazing, especially fresh eggs ... Hot tub an added bonus , this break was just what we both needed

Great rural location, summerhouse was very private completely fenced off from the house garden. The hot tub was set up and the lodge had everything we needed ready for our arrival. The hosts were nice and provided lots of complementary goodies, including fresh eggs laid that morning. They were very accommodating and arranged with us to feed all their animals (the best bit). Summerhouse is very close to the Mercian way, Route 45, great for cycling and walking.

The hot tub was lovely. The bed was really cosy. The owners left us eggs from their farm which were delicious as well as a few other treats. It was lovely waking up to sheep bleating and lots of hills and countryside views. The booklet had lots of information so we used this to go on walks and explore the local town. We didn’t see the owners much but they sent a message to check everything was okay and we had their mobile numbers should we have needed them
