Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
This little cottage just felt like home! It was beautifully decorated throughout, the bathroom and hot tub being main highlights! The little touch of the dog basket was lovely, although we didn’t travel with a dog, you’d never know there had been a pet in the place it was so clean!
Beautifully finished to a high standard. Lovely cosy cottage perfect for a chilled out weekend away from the madness of everyday life. Sitting in the hot tub listening to all the birds and the beck flowing along side us. The owners leaving a bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a really special touch too. We will definitely be making a return.
The bathroom was amazing! The double sink and shower was fabulous and the TV was the icing on the cake! Hot tub was lovely, such a nice peaceful setting! Facilities were top notch, was in a lovely peaceful area! Had a bottle of Prosecco left for us on arrival which again was a lovely touch! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our mini moon.
The property was in a good location, close to the beach and the Lake District. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The cottage was quaint and comfortable. There was a great selection of games, books and DVD’s to keep you entertained if the weather isn’t good. The local pub was great, and just 100yards away.
Fabulous stay at this beautiful little cottage! Despite having visited and waking up on our first day to snow, which ended up being a good ft!, we couldnt have been snowed in in a better place. The hosts are brilliant, the neighbours/neighbourhood are also lovely. Would 100% recommend this property, we will certainly be returning, hopefully with better weather to see the lake district in all its beauty.
