The cottage was close to the sea and beach. The beach seems to go for miles, and no one to share it.The heating is by electric radiators, and when they were turned off, the house got cold quickly. We were always aware of the cost to heat the house even tho' we were not liable to any additional costs.

This cosy cottage was a little gem near the beach, and a short drive from some of the lakes' best walks was perfect for me, and my dog will definitely stay again. Ben was the perfect host, always making sure everything was fine, making for a really good stay,

The beautiful views from the windows were amazing. We got lucky with the weather, the location is ideal for walking. The cottage had everything we needed for self catering. Ravensglass and the "ratty" steam train is a short walk along the coast, and of course the ratty pub is just the ticket for a well earned drink after a long walk. Highly recommend.
