The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted - close to where my daughter lives and big enough for 5 of us for the night. Suzanne was an excellent host who responded quickly to my questions.

Booked on same day as arrival. Hosts were great. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean and the property is a good size.
Set in Hatherleigh and only 24 km from Lydford Castle, Church View - c. 1750 cosy character cob cottage. Offers accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Very restful, charming room with wonderful view of the village church. Our hostess was very helpful, kind and attentive to detail. Breakfast was lovely too.
The lodge was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location was wonderful, with walks in every direction. Lovely and quiet. Clear dark skies with no light pollution. Communication with the owner was very good. Hannah is very helpful.
Right in the middle of Drewsteignton. Charming village, fortunately protected from visiting coach parties by a maze of narrow lanes. Interior of village pub is pretty much unchanged since the early 20th century. Handy for Castle Drogo. Wonderful walks for the energetic, try the loop out to Castle Drogo, then along the Teign to Fingle Bridge, and back.
Host (Sally) is friendly and knowledgeable. Good choice of breakfast.
Very peaceful setting amongst the rolling hills of Devon's countryside making it a perfect place to unwind. Lovely touch having freshly made scones together with some milk and eggs on arrival
Sally was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much to ask for her and she really went out her way to accommodate me. The room itself is very cosy, good selection of tea and coffee with your own mini-fridge, and a fab view onto the square. The location is superb, right next to pubs, the post office and the bus stop. I had a lovely, peaceful stay. Thank you Sally!
The location was a great base for Dartmoor walking. The cottage itself was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.
