Elegant & spacious farmhouse with wonderful views, a property with a garden, is situated in Penrith, 21 km from Askham Hall, 30 km from Derwentwater, as well as 44 km from Buttermere.

Farmhouse was awesome Brilliant garden even for early teens Fabulous and safe for our 2 granddogs Great choice of bedrooms Absolutely, everything needed in the kitchen was there Lots of condiments, kitchen roll etc was there Loved the bottles of dish cleaner, shampoos, etc. Very stylish. I can't say anything bad about this property. 150% recommended for families. For us, there were 6 adults and 3 early teens Matt, the owner (I think), was brilliant with his messages when I needed to contact him

The lodge was a fantastic stop off on the journey down from the Highlands! Really easy to find and great comms from the owners. The place itself was immaculate, so clean and fresh! It was lovely and warm and cosy, well decorated and equipped. The bed was comfy and we slept well! Honestly wish he had booked more than one night as it was so quiet and relaxing! Just perfect!

    Lovely rural location, beautiful, very well equipped and comfortable cottage. The pheasant inn next door was great for an evening meal as well. Lovely, happy, friendly staff as well.

    My third stay here! Beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need, including coffee machine, very quiet, comfortable, friendly host, My dog Milllie stayed for no extra charge.

    Lovely spacious and clean cottage. The welcome was great, also the food in the pub next door (pheasant inn) was superb. Many thanks to the owners Daughter for looking after us. The fillet steaks were delicious, way above the average pub food.

    Lovely self contained cottage attached to a pub which served great beers and quality food. Beautiful large bathroom & one of the biggest tv's I've ever seen! Great location for walks /quiet countryside
