Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Lovely rural location, beautiful, very well equipped and comfortable cottage.
The pheasant inn next door was great for an evening meal as well. Lovely, happy, friendly staff as well.
The view from the cottage , field with sheep, lambs, cows, calfs and hens 😁
Location was great
Cottage was lovely and really appreciated the 'welcome' supplies.
My third stay here! Beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need, including coffee machine, very quiet, comfortable, friendly host, My dog Milllie stayed for no extra charge.
Lovely Cottage , our second stay , very comfy bed , exceptional food from the pub next door , delivered to the Cottage table. If we are up that way again, we will definitely stay .
Lovely spacious and clean cottage.
The welcome was great, also the food in the pub next door (pheasant inn) was superb.
Many thanks to the owners Daughter for looking after us. The fillet steaks were delicious, way above the average pub food.
Lovely self contained cottage attached to a pub which served great beers and quality food.
Beautiful large bathroom & one of the biggest tv's I've ever seen!
Great location for walks /quiet countryside
my second stay at Rose Cottage and I wasn’t disappointed. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the furnishings were very comfortable with a nice modern shower room.
A lovely rustic cottage recently renovated to a very nice standard. There are stunning views of the nearby pennines and the lake district in the distance.
