No 1 Grove Road, hotel in Crook

Honestly everything. You can tell this host is thoughtful and kind. We actually broke down on the way, we walked in and the host had left all our creature comforts. Coffee, tea, biccies, bottled water, even a lil choccy treat. Some milk for us, there was Netflix in the rooms. The kiddy room has a nightlight and a reading book and a blanket! I honestly can't even express how well thought out the accomodation was. Everything was comfy. Everything was clean. There was even a book with recommended garages for repairs which was useful! Recommended visits, and takeaway leaflets etc etc. I was shocked by how much thought the host put into this. My family and I travel almost every other weekend to places along the UK because our friends and family are so scattered and not once have I ever come across a host owned accommodation that has ever been this considerate and such a home from home. There were board games and digital games and DVDs and honestly the list could go on, the dishwasher, the cleaning up products easily on hand, the makeup table! Everything was just so perfect and made us feel so at ease. We didn't want to leave to be honest 🤣 it definitely made us want to stay in Durham forever, so much so that we've already booked our longer next stay and did so before we had even left. Parking was easy and at the front of the property! So very handy for getting things out the boot! Check in was also easily done with a lockbox and code sent on the day! Host was fantastic at.communicating with us and I can only say a massive thank you to the host for such a memorable stay!

Large countryside home, hotel in Crook

Situated in Tow Law in the Durham region, Large countryside home has a terrace. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of charge.

We all absolutely loved everything the property has to offer! The host really thought about everything, every detail was perfect. The shower was just amazing and the beds were very comfortable. We was staying for my younger brothers passing out parade in catterick and he loved the location so much he decided to propose to his partner in the beautiful surrounding areas! We all celebrated with a local take away from the fish and chips down the road and a bottle of wine from the shop next to it. We was all so blown away with how close everything was! My mother loved the place so much she has booked to stay again in November!

Lovely cosy house, had essentials for breakfast, hot drinks, towels so you didn't have to worry about the little things. The house is a lot bigger than you would think from the outside enough room for a big group.

The space was clean, the beds were comfy enough and the little living room was cosy if I could get the little fire to work it would of been even cosier. The kitchen is lovely and fill of everything you could need for a longer stay, the little basket on table filled with little breakfast things and biscuits was a lovely little addition to the stay. You can see the owner tries to provide everything you could need. I think some blankets In the front room would be a nice addition as it was quite cold even with the heating turned on.

Lovely house in quiet area, but within walking distance of shops and amenities, House was spacious, comfy and cosy, beautifully decorated and well equipped and exceptionally clean. Great base for a short break. We stayed here to visit Crookfest - only 10 minutes or so away on foot, great location.

The cottage is beautiful and very tastefully decorated, everything inside is brand new. It is way better than we expected for the price! Very nice bathroom with bath and shower and there is a fireplace in the living room. Everything you need is there we had a very cosy and pleasant stay. Location is also great, equally easy to get to Durham and North Pennines.
