This place was decorated in such a wonderful way that it feels like a medieval bedroom in many respects. The breakfast was great, staff very helpful, I loved the castle and its grounds and being able to work around it after closing time was great too. The energy of the place is wonderful.

The size of this place is so impressive and yet oddly doesn't feel too big for two people. It has a superb layout with great characteristic features. Amazing kitchen with a nice big oven. The upstairs lounge is very relaxing. The WiFi worked fine but the welcome book needs updating though, as the WiFi information is not current.
Typically we got good old UK weather (plenty of rain), which turned the rear garden into a muddy pond. This sadly stopped us from using the hot tub, as the ground was so wet. Had the weather been better we would have definitely used it.

Absolutely loved my stay on the 20/9. I stayed with me niece and nephew and they were over the moon with the change of scene we needed. A bonus we got to see deer running around it the morning. Rebecca was really helpful with any questions I had and easy to talk to. Only down side was having to leave, should definitely had booked an extra night!

The fact that it was better equipped than some hotels I’ve stayed in.
Bernadette the host, was amazing and went out of her way to make my stay a good one.
Choices from shower or bath down to nuts or crisps or all of them.
I will definitely stay again.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The room was lovely - bath looking out to lovely countryside. It does feel a bit exposed as there isn’t a lot of cover/ curtains, but the view makes it worth it.
Property is very clean.
On site parking available. Make sure you have a car as it is difficult to get to property otherwise.
Breakfast was nice - only thing given it’s a small b&b you need to decide the night before what time you’re going to have breakfast and what you’re going to eat.
Owner is very nice and friendly.
Very last minute booking- very easy
Beautiful build sympathetic with the existing listed building and the countryside surrounding it. Quite sublime to sit of an evening overlooking the view or take a swim in the beautiful pool.

The rooms were very attractive and light and airy with comfy beds. The decor was very tasteful with a modern touch which we loved. There were lovely views from the communal sitting area. The pool and tennis courts added a lot if we had been staying longer. The owner was very helpful and charming.
