We recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at a charming wooden log cabin, and it was nothing short of delightful. The cabin was incredibly comfortable, cosy, and warm, providing the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Everything was spotlessly clean with a beautiful interior that made us feel right at home. The space was ample for our family of four, offering a spacious environment for the kids to play and for us to relax.
The location was ideal, nestled in a picturesque setting with a lovely pub just down the road and another on-site for convenience. The owners were welcoming and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable with their hospitality.
While we loved every moment, our only minor feedback would be the need for more cups and plates to accommodate four people. However, this small detail did not detract from our overall wonderful experience. We highly recommend this log cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful and charming getaway.

The house was lovely. It is well set out with everything you need. The host left a cute welcome basket and she was very helpful. The log fire was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms are well set out. It's in a wonderful location five minutes walk to the Mere and near the centre of town. We are booking again very soon ❤️

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.

The cottage was very cosy, neat and comfortable. The furnishings were lovely and It was like a 'home from home'. It was very well equipped. I loved the name of the cottage and enjoyed sharing it with, the very well behaved 'Puddleducks'. Thank you so much!
Lovely little cottage. Had everything you needed and more all you need is your suitcase everything else is there.
The village was beautiful and enjoyed food from the fish & chip shop and also the white horse inn. Both places the food was great.
Loved that there was a play park all of 100 metres from the cottage on the green out front.
House was very clean and beautifully decorated too. Felt very cosy.
