Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Both Wendy and Graham were so friendly and very attentive without being too much. There really is not a single negative I could mention. Such a wonderful location, the hut itself has everything you could need, the shower was spacious, the bed was oh so comfortable and the decking was beautiful to sit out on both during the day and at night with the fire pit going strong. Already booked for another break away!

This has to be one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. Looks striking as you arrive and see it on the lake but the minute we opened the door the smell was awful, there is a tank which collects the toilet deposits behind the hut and the bathroom absolutely stinks and it flows throughout the cabin. I had to leave once it got dark and went back in the morning. Nothing luxury about the cabin whatsoever, very basic. Furnishings in bedroom very dated . Dried residue in sugar canister . Garden chairs were sodden and mouldy, table was filthy and all the decking veranda was covered in bird poo. You couldn’t cast out properly for fishing due to a giant tree obstructing the area. It really does not justify the price at all.

Very cosy, quirky and compact garden bedroom with en-suite and terrace space. Perfect for our 3 night stay, in the middle of Goudhurst. Easy walk to shops pub and restaurants and countryside walks. Many places of interest, parks and gardens within a short drive. Susan was lovely, informative and helpful.
