Located in the picturesque village of Carlton Husthwaite, Swan Cottage is a delightful cottage set in a beautiful garden. Hosts Colin and Sue are very welcoming. Breakfast is a wide choice from a tasty menu to suit all tastes and served with a view to the extensive garden. It was cold when we were there, however cottage was warm and comfortable. Village gives easy access to the A19 and York plus short distance to North York Moors and the delights of places likes Reivaulx and Hemsley.

The location was perfect just a 5 minute drive to my partners daughter. cottage is beautiful and suzy and Colin are a fantastic couple they could not have done any more than they did to make our stay perfect a big 10 from us they made us feel at home from the minute we met them until we said goodbye.a very warm and cozy atmosphere cannot praise them enough thank you both very much and see you soon 😊

The B&B is a lovely cottage set in a lovely area. The host was wonderful, very welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, fresh patries and fruit and a lovely strong coffee. Would love to stay there again.

We had such an enjoyable stay at Swan Cottage, a beautiful home in a quiet village. We were made to feel very much part of the family and our room was a delight, both spacious and yet cosy and comfortable. The nearby pub served up an excellent meal for us.

Beautiful cottage in fabulous position, lovely room with bath, great breakfast and charming hosts. Bicycle storage in the garage overnight. 5 minutes walk from village pub, The Carlton Inn, for a delicious dinner in the garden. Top class b and b for cyclists and anyone else.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating, beautiful country surroundings, battery farm rescued chickens(!!!), friendly horses in the paddock next door, delicious hearty dinner. We also loved our quiet little cabin which was very cosy and cute.
