It's a home from home, as soon as we arrived we all felt relaxed and happy. The welcome package was a thoughtful & welcome touch. I was impressed with the information regarding attractions & the phone numbers for emergiencies. Every room was cosy & well thought out, with plenty of storage & amenities. The The additional downstairs toilet was handy. The hosts were friendly & informative. Also very helpful as I left sopmething which they are kindly sending back to me. It's a great location for various local sites.

Yew Tree Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views to the hills. It was warm and comfortable with plenty of space for us. The kitchen was well equipped and there were many thoughtful touches such as umbrellas and a walking stick in the hall as well as local information. We would definitely come again.

Set in an idyllic setting, this was a complete break away from everything. Back to basics, comfortable and cosy. Away from civilisation, but close enough to the B&B to feel safe for the single female traveller (and to have amazing fresh scrambled eggs delivered every morning!). Eco friendly, everything was well thought through with lots of lovely touches to make it feel warm and welcoming.I am missing it already! The host, Bernie, was so lovely and helpful.

I thought the morning breakfasts with a gentle knock on the door was very welcoming, a lot of thought has been put into this service and I can only say good things about the facilities. Bernie was lovely and very welcoming. It is my first experience in a lodge and I would say that it is going to be a place I come to again. They thought of everything, from the lights in the dark as you walk up to the entrance, to the breakfast in bed, and the cosy room to make a good nights sleep. Thank you! I will be seeing you again. - Marcus
