Everything was perfect. Incredibly peaceful location with lovely garden for an evening drink. Inside the house is immaculate, luxurious and well appointed. The little touches (antler chew for the dog through to coffee and tea for us) made it even nicer. Sophie left us a welcome card and was v helpful. Beautiful location to relax on the river, you can spot some curious sheep and cows from the other side of river. The lodge was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with good pots and pans. There is a dishwasher. The hot tub was great to relax in. We visited NT Croft castle, clun castle and water break it's neck waterfall. We also forgot something, we contacted Simon and Jane who made sure to send it quickly through the post
