Everything was perfect - the best stay we’ve had for a long time. The house was lovely and in a great location - only 10 minutes walk from Aldeburgh but in a quiet road so no traffic noise. There was only two of us so plenty of space and everything was spotless. Lovely shower. Recommend booking dinner well in advance- we booked before our holiday. The Lighthouse restaurant is wonderful.

Roomy house and large garden terrace for outdoor meals in warm weather :)
House was larger than we expected.
The property seemed well managed; excellent comms from the management company. Nice touches of a home such as decor with local references.

The key safe was well hidden away but as we are both in our seventies bending low down to the key safe was a problem after a long journey in the car. We have a key safe at home so know how easy they are to work but I had to kneel down to see the numbers and there was a massive hollyhock grabbing me! Once open it was fine but my husband walks with a stick so this could have been a problem for us.

Beautifully presented cottage. Great for our family trip from Scotland. We were down staying in Aldeburgh and sailing at the yacht club. We have two small children aged 3 and 1. Cottage was well placed and easy walk into town and to the yacht club

It was very isolated with no one around which was perfect. We were very lucky to see monkjack deer in the morning. It was also the ideal location to visit family and other places of interest.

Very cosy cottage, just a short walk from the beach & the town centre, with 2 supermarkets for all that you'd need 2 minutes walk from the cottage.
Garden was a lovely haven & the summer house was the perfect place to read your book & enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day, i'm now looking at summer houses on line, i definitely need one in my life now.
Limited parking directly outside the cottage but we found parking very easily just around the corner. Would also recommend the Lighthouse for food, had a lovely meal there.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The cottage was very clean and tidy, tasteful decor. Nice touch to have eggs and milk on arrival. Spacious enough for four adults and one dog! Lovely quiet location, convenient for nearby places of interest. Good to have enclosed patio for our dog. Owners were not intrusive, but we knew they were on hand if we needed anything.
Good location for coast & countryside. Quiet but only 5 to 20 mins from pubs, restaurants & shops. Nicely furnished, clean towels & crockery. Key safe for arrival at cottage.
Loved the location, the cottage had a great layout and was very comfortable. The outside space patio chairs and table were lovely to use. A very thorough welcome e-mail and a great help when asked about local walks at the time of booking. Thank you for a really Great Stay. And making the sunshine for 4 days just topped it off. (smile)
loved the cottage, very well thought through, lovingly restored, very convenient location. bathrooms are very comfy and modern. fireplace is so lovely and we enjoyed our evenings in the cottage. very comfy beds, bright rooms with lovely touches like pictures or throws.
Excellent picturesque location in the Suffolk Coast AONB. Quiet, modern equipped cottages, with plenty of local amenities a short distance away. Perfectly placed for Aldeburgh, Orford, Southwold and other fabulous local attractions.
Thoroughly recommend as a base for any activities in South Suffolk area.
The location suited us very well indeed between local relatives, the walks in the countryside and the estuary and Orford for boating, pubs and fine dining.
Perfectly equipped with everything needed for a great self catering holiday
