We have been to the chicken shed 4 times now and every single time we come we are just as blown away as the first time we came. It really is our happy place and we always feel so relaxed and at home during our stay. We can’t wait to come back for a fifth time!

The location on Pendle Hill is indeed stunning! The little cottage is very cosy and comfy and spotlessly clean. The bed is also very comfortable. I felt very happy staying here, and would definitely come back.
There is a lot of attention to detail, and the owners, Kerry and David, are so friendly and helpful.
I visited the area for a personal reason, and Kerry's kind words helped to make an already lovely stay extra special.
The property is quite far away from too much light pollution, and watching the night sky from the little patio at the back of it was wonderful.

Gorgeous cottage with fantastic views and very comfortable beds. The hot tub was fantastic and the garden was spacious and homely. The kitchen was kitted out with everything you could possibly need and I loved the personal touches, including the garden shoes and incredible artwork on the walls. It was an absolute pleasure staying here and I would recommend this gorgeous cottage to anyone.

A lovely property with everything you need to be comfortable.
Great location within the village.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Enjoyed our stay at Bridge End Cottage, it was well equipped and clean, the views from the cottage are lovely, lots of animals to see especially the very friendly peacock on our doorstep!!! Mr Howarth was very helpful and informative. We will definitely be returning !!!
Warm friendly welcome. Offered a cup of tea as soon as we walked through the door!
The bedroom was just the right size, very clean and cosy
Breakfast was plentiful and served with a small.
A beautiful property in the most amazing location, the views were outstanding. Our lovely room had panoramic views of the breathtaking countryside. The gardens were very well kept and had we had longer there we’d have loved to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings.
The cottage was situated in the shadow of Pendle Hill. The property was very clean, comfortable and had all the facilities required. Lovely private garden to the rear. Great walks down to the village. If you want an great secluded retreat look no further. Within easy reach of Clitheroe. Would certainly book again.
Cottage was quaint.... and in whole place was cosy and warm! Didn't meet the hosts properly just got instructions as to where cottage located and informed key in door.
