It was so good to be in a historic building, in a great village. The Land Lady was so kind and helpful. Her dog was also so happy to see visitors. I also slept so well in this cosy accommodation.

A beautiful cottage, with well laid out bedrooms and plenty of space for a large family group, it was full of quirky features and so cosy and warm. We used the cottage as a base for a day out to Stockeld Park approximately half an hour away, which worked well for us. Great communication from the host and housekeeping team we really enjoyed our stay at The Old Mill.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Such a lovely cottage in a nice village. Shop round the corner with local goodies. Two pubs nearby. The living room had an impressive fireplace and a Christmas tree, which was very much appreciated. Perfect for a pre Christmas celebration with the family.
