Excellent location, facilities were good, liked the decor, style of property.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Lovely village location. Very clean and pristine. Sky tv. All appliances and cooking utensils and pans. Felt cosy as soon as you entered the house. Nice compact layout. Seated private area out back perfect for meal times.
It was so good to be in a historic building, in a great village.
The Land Lady was so kind and helpful. Her dog was also so happy to see visitors.
I also slept so well in this cosy accommodation.
The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The house was cosy, clean and a very good size. The two bathrooms were lovely and one included a big shower cubicle. The location in Cawood by the river is beautiful and only a short drive from York. We had a lovely family break here!
great location, lovely setting, some really nice facilities on the park. and the lodge was lovely and quite spacious, well decorated and stocked with a good selection of games, table wares etc. the outside seating was beneficial.
A beautiful cottage, with well laid out bedrooms and plenty of space for a large family group, it was full of quirky features and so cosy and warm.
We used the cottage as a base for a day out to Stockeld Park approximately half an hour away, which worked well for us.
Great communication from the host and housekeeping team we really enjoyed our stay at The Old Mill.
The pictures don’t do it justice. Such a lovely cottage in a nice village. Shop round the corner with local goodies. Two pubs nearby.
The living room had an impressive fireplace and a Christmas tree, which was very much appreciated. Perfect for a pre Christmas celebration with the family.
