Location was perfect to attend a funeral in a nearby church . Arriving to a lit Christmas tree and other Christmas touches, as well as a tray set and milk in the fridge was so welcoming. Everything was very clean and well thought out.

Beautiful little cottage, in a great setting. Yet plenty of space. A brilliant base for exploring the coast and surroundings. Everything that you need is provided. Parking wasn't a problem. Sitting outside admiring the views in the morning 😍 was lovely. Nice touches for the doggy too who loved it. We brought extra throws as our Beagle has no brain.! Would stay there again if they wiĺ have us. A lovely long weekend and fab weather but that's another £1 per night. Thank you so much.

Perfect for a family of 4, kids didn’t mind sharing a double bed. Very spacious, nice and quiet little village with lovely views. The cottage was very clean when we arrived, a lovely welcome pack on the table. Lovely pub in the village also. Perfect if you wanna get away from it and just relax.

Excellent location to all parts of North Yorkshire. The cottage was well appointed. The lounge was very cosy and the bedrooms comfy. We slept well. The village pub was a very short walk and a co-op local just over the road for any essential supplies. Parking was on the road and we always found somewhere very close to the cottage. We would happily return. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was lovely with plenty of space for the four of us and 1 dog. Nice and cosy to sit in but plenty going on in the village too. Castleton is a great location; there was a small supermarket, great pub which also did food and a lovely cafe. Deli 21 near the cottage was a highlight to get a packed lunch before going walking. Plenty of walls from the cottage.
