Ivy Cottage, hotel in Carterton

Set in Bourton on the Water, in a historic building, 31 km from Cotswold Water Park, Ivy Cottage is a holiday home with a terrace and barbecue facilities.

Location of the cottage is excellent being a short walk into Bourton on the Water. Plenty of choice of restaurants and pubs but it was extremely busy everywhere with tourists. It was nice and warm in the property. The garden was great for my 2 dogs and was fully enclosed. Had parking for 2 cars. The conservatory was very nice and bright for dining. Host responded promptly to my enquiry re recycling and the BBQ. Welcome basket with Diddly Squat items was nice. The Mousetrap pub opposite was very handy.

Newly Refurbished Modern 4 Bed Detached House !, hotel in Carterton

Offering a garden and garden view, Newly Refurbished Modern 4 Bed Detached House! is set in Oxford, 14 km from Blenheim Palace and 34 km from Notley Abbey.

House was very well appointed with good quality items, extremely spacious and in a good location to where we needed to be, however, because of roadworks, not the properties fault, we were late for our appointment, what should have taken just over five minutes took over half an hour.

Masons Cottage, an Idyllic retreat in an area of outstanding beauty, close to Blenheim Palace, Oxford & The Cotswolds, hotel in Carterton

Offering a garden and garden view, Masons Cottage, an Idyllic retreat in an area of outstanding beauty, close to Blenheim Palace, Oxford & The Cotswolds is located in Stonesfield, 8.5 km from Blenheim...

A good location to access the Oxfordshire side of the Cotswolds. Also, it is a good location to visit Blenheim Palace. Facilities were excellent. Every little detail was taken into consideration. For example, local maps and a torch for venturing out in the evening. When Masons cottage sent us checking in details, they included every small detail from checking in and places to see, eat, and drink. Friendly working dogs, who were adorable. Local community pub who had a band on whilst we were staying. We visited Woodstock, Castleton House, Burford, and Stonesfield. Would definitely recommend highly booking.

Very comfortable, smart and modern, with a big TV and cosy kitchen. Morrison's right outside was extremely handy. Tea, coffee and some biscuits provided. High ceiling bathroom with a very big mirror. Great water pressure in the shower.

We stayed here as we were going to a wedding at Caswell House. It was a convenient location. Surrounded by countryside yet Carterton village is vey close and has great supermarkets etc. Only 10 mins by car from Caswell House. Enjoyed using the games room and having drinks in the garden.

It was a lovely quirky barn conversion in an ideal situation. A short walk into Carterton with a good view of wildlife and countryside. I think we had a more fun experience attending the wedding than my cousins who ended up in the Premier Inn in Witney. We were well placed to also visit Kelmscott Manor and Crocodiles of the World

On arrival we parked right outside the cottage. As we entered it felt homely and comfortable. It was very clean and the kitchen had every appliance and crockery and cutlery you would need for a short or long stay. We only had a cup of tea and breakfast on one of the days as we were using the cottage just as a base to sleep. It was good that we had text messages from the owners asking if everything was OK for us.

It's self catering but there's plenty of places to eat out. A great Indian restaurant 50 yards away amongst others. The Butty Box does awesome baguettes and stuff.
