Ashlee met me at our arrival, warm and welcoming. A key lock gave us easy key management for a large group to share (9). We were wowed by the place, from the modern downstairs facilities, moving up to a period two level home, that has been raised to modern high standards, with classic, artful decoration. Four couples and a single were easily accommodated in the spacious rooms, (two ensuite) with two rooms spare. Dan and Ashlee left bread, milk, tea, pizza, etc... very thoughtful. Showers were great, as were the facilities in general. Rose House was spacious, clean and tidy. with welcoming candles burning, fragrant. The setting - Walk out the font door, turn left walk 5 minutes and you are in a forest that you can walk for 50 minutes and still not reach the furthest point; river, different paths, nature. - Walk straight from the front door (crossing carefully :)) and you'll reach the walled gardens. From your window you'll see 2 minutes walk away a church that was a friary, built on ancient church grounds, beyond that the sea. Then there's the castle, workshops etc, two excellent wee pubs(or are they one but split?) a few meters from your front door... it's was a great venue for a small family birthday party, we loved it!

We stayed in ‘Jimmy’ November 2023 and absolutely loved it! The hut is incredibly cosy and beautifully designed, there was everything we could have needed. Beds were comfortable, shower hot and strong and the heating easy to use - underfloor heating is a game changer! My daughter loved the hot tub and it was easy enough to get it going. Waking up to the sun rising through the glass front doors (we left the blinds open) was so special. Mary was the perfect host, she couldn’t have done enough for us!

A wonderful location, brilliant for star gazing and watching the sun rise over the sea. Mary has thought of everything you could possibly need and a lot of extras and beautiful finishing touches as well. The hot tub and hut areas are very private and peaceful. Great base for exploring the north coast or simply relaxing on site. The bed was extra comfy and the hut is cozy, with easy to use heating controls. What a view to wake up to!

Everything. Seaview, spaciousness, comfort, serenity, hot tub, location and our lovely hosts Gladys and Harold, so lovely and friendly. Perfect getaway for anybody who wants to relax or explore the beautiful glens of Antrim in any weather, sunshine or rain! We had both and it was equally charming. Will definitely come back :)
