We went to chill, and be by ourselves, and that’s exactly how it was, nice to be able to cook on the fire outside as well as cooking availability inside the hut, bed very comfortable, seating area outside very relaxing, fire outside to light if the night air gets too cold, the hut is nice and warm, lovely shower, everything is there that you need. The ponies are beautiful and so photogenic 😊, a beautiful cat that is so friendly and welcoming, lovely walks on the clay trail, the owners can’t do enough for you, but also leave you to it. This is a place not to be missed, you really need to visit it, it’s what you need to get away and discover yourself and chill out away from everything. Beautiful 🤩

We stayed in the Villa which was is outstanding. Antonia gives excellent recommendations for the area and places to eat and drink. Charlestown is an excellent place to stay and the villa was in the heart of Charlestown.

We were greeted warmly by host Colin, who had advised us that we could arrive from 3 and - true to his word - everything was ready so we took advantage of an early entry to this beautiful property.
The views are spectacular, the location is superb, the property has been beautifully built and contained absolutely everything we needed. We were grateful for the flowers, the milk and the fruit.
It’s clear to us that Colin knows exactly what his visitors are looking for and he delivers brilliantly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and highly recommend Badgers Hollow.

A comfortable, well appointed lodge located in beautiful gardens. It was a great place to stay, our Lodge had a well equipped kitchen and a stunning bathroom, the king size bed was comfortable and the living area was cosy. Pinetum is perfectly situated just outside St Austell and is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. There is also the added bonus of being able to explore the beautiful grounds, we will definitely be returning!

Location is just amazing. Just a few minutes walk from the stunning and quiet Crinnis beach, perfect for the children. Lovely bright cottage with great decor. Very helpful and responsive host. Lovely touch to have coffee , millk and some treats waiting for us. Would love to come again!
So close to everything, comfy, clean, all kitchen bits n bobs you could need. Big bath and shower, bed super comfy. Nice and cool in this hot weather. Cosy, pretty furnishing. Big dining table. Will be back in the winter
Charlotte was such a lovely host. The house is situated in what looked like a very affluent area of Carlyon Bay. It consisted of a lovely old cottage, very quaint and a generous size. The extra goodies were an excellent welcome after our long journey.The location was superb to Carlyon Beach and other places we planned to visit. The house as a base served its purpose very well.
Excellent location - only 5 minute walk from Crinnis Beach and a beautiful walk to Charlestown.
All the rooms were a good size and the house was plenty big enough for 8 of us. Hot tub and pool table were brilliant.
The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do. The house was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. There were two families staying with ample parking for both cars. The house was cosy and modern with lovely decor. A bargain price too for our little birthday weekend retreat. Great little cafe/bar opposite that served the best breakfast and close to the beach, Eden project, St Austell and the beautiful Charlestown. Would recommend this property highly. Thank you for a lovely stay!
