This was the cutest guest house I've ever stayed in. We only thought we would have a small room but it was very decent sized, the ensuite had a bath,there was also a separate shower room. we had a lovely massive living room and kitchen! It was fantastic and only 20 minutes from windermere ! Will deffo book here again. Chris was lovely and gave us some nice tips as to where to go.

nice touches - seasonings in the kitchen making it easier to cook tasty meals, tea/coffee/sugar caddies full made it feel welcoming and friendly. All clean, location quiet, comfortable furnishings. Just what we needed to relax.

Beautiful old cottage. Well appointed, quiet. The pub down the road was also fantastic- good solid food and well priced too. Amazing host. Went out of their way to help us do our laundry.

Fantastic holiday house with literally everything you could need for a stay away. We stayed for 1 night and there was no less attention to detail and a warm welcome than someone who is staying for 2 weeks.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.

Cosy, loved the fire. The place has everything we needed and more. Hot showers also! Extra bonus was lots of finches and birds on bird feeder outside before on window which we loved!!
The property was clean, comfortable and easy to find. It was on a lovely little site next to bigger caravan/lodge parks, with beautiful lakes and many facilities. But see below…..
