Extremely clean and fantastic kitchen with all required utensils and cooking equipment. Great remote location. Loads of wood for fires, unfortunately,
couldn't have a fire or pizza out doors due to weather. Great showers.
Wife in the ongoing house.

This weekend away was booked at short notice and Tom was very helpful and accommodating. The lodge was clean and comfortable and served our needs perfectly. We had everything we needed for a cosy and peaceful stay. It is situated in a lovely rural lodge park, walking distance from the town and offers countryside views and pretty surroundings.
Lovely cosy lodge, equipped with everything you need. Beds and sofa really comfy, great location, very peaceful and close to the river. We stayed here whilst visiting Hay Festival but ended up leaving the festival early for our last afternoon because our two year old wanted to get back to the ‘caravan house’ and throw stones in the river! A really lovely lodge in a great location. Am sure we’ll be back!
Location was great. Walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants. The Firs is very cosy, breakfast was generous . Host was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The cottage is cosy and unpretentious. Will stay again. Thank you to our host.
The cottage is beautiful with great views. Its location makes it very quiet with lots of wildlife and countryside to enjoy. All the facilities are of great quality. The hosts live next door so are on hand if needed. They have provided lots of information about the local area which was very useful.
