This property is a fabulous experience. The hosts have painstakingly refurbished a historic building sympathetically to create a calm and cosy haven. Close to town amenities and the wonderful beach, it is ideally placed to explore Scarborough.
Laura has been faultless in her customer care and helpfulness which does make all the difference.
Attention to detail is obvious everywhere you look and nothing is lacking.

Appleby cottage was exceptionally clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. It was spacious, yet cosy and a cot was available for us to use. We walked to the North Bay in 10/15 minutes and shops were a couple of minutes away.

Really well furnished with lots of draws cupboard space. All rooms apart from kitchen dining room and one double room on same floor. Some houses in Scarborough over 4 floors and can be dangerous. The property couldn't have been any cleaner. Would definitely stay again.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The location was just what we needed as we were travelling with dogs. The directions to the property were spot on, the tea/coffee welcome pack was a nice touch. Everything was clean, the house heated up quickly and was so warm and cosy. Information packs on the properry and local area were provided. The lounge was so inviting after a day spent in the forest. The shower was hot and the towels were really fluffy. I wish I could live in a house like that.
Charming cottage in a forest setting. Ideally located for all manner of activities. The facilities are good and the shower is very good. Despite the remoteness, wifi is good as is TV reception. We stayed here as we attending a wedding at Harkness Grange and it's just 10 minutes up the road and a fraction of the cost. The host is very helpful and informative.
